Marianne Engberg is a Brooklyn-based Danish photographer famous for her pinhole camera photography work and the pioneering of a darkroom technique known as photosynthetism which produces unique photograms . She worked as a fashion photographer for Vogue in London, and as a travel photographer in South America for Safari Magazine. Her work has been exhibited around the world, and is often displayed in major collections, including the Brooklyn Museum, the New York Public Library, the Israel Museum in Jerusalem, and the Fogg Museum in Boston, and figures in the private collection of Queen Margrethe II of Denmark.
